Traditional black tie, with room for character
Begin with the foundations: black or midnight navy, grosgrain facings, jetted pockets, silk-covered buttons, and trousers finished with side adjusters and a clean outseam. An ivory dinner jacket offers another timeless option.
For creative black tie, we can introduce a black watch tartan dinner jacket, moiré silk, a ruffled shirt, or a custom butterfly bow tie. The result should be memorable without feeling like a costume.
Most commissions require two to three months and multiple fittings. For weddings and winter gala season, scheduling early allows time to get every proportion and detail right.
